It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we inform you that codethatidea has recently become the international partner for the Netherlands, of the global educational organization®, for the global educational event Hour of Code™ for children and youth!

Children Using Tablets

This year, we have partnered with Platform C in Amstelveen to bring the magic of coding, artificial intelligence, and computer science to Amstelveen and invite all children from 7 to 12 years of age to come and try one FREE Hour of Code with us, on 09 December 2023!

Hour of Code™ is a global educational event that has been organized around the world for ten years in a row, and has been tried by over 100 million children! The Hour of Code™ coding activities are provided by® and their partners. See what famous people have to say about this event, and how they encourage everyone, from children to seniors, to embark on a programming adventure!

Platform C is an organization dedicated to fostering creativity and learning, and is passionate about enabling cultural education and participation. In this amazing offer and mutual effort, they aim to bridge the gap between technology and culture, empowering individuals to explore the world of coding.

Let's dive together into the realm of computer science and artificial intelligence, and learn what it is all about! Let's explore firsthand how these algorithms work in exciting projects for just one hour! The teacher will give instructions in English, but you can also choose the Dutch language for your project to work on!

The only thing needed from you is to bring your own laptop/tablet/iPad, and leave the rest to us! Headphones/headsets are preferred.
